Independence Blue Cross Foundation recognizes summer nurse interns

The Independence Blue Cross Foundation (Foundation) hosted a recognition event to conclude its annual nursing internship program. Through the program, 23 undergraduate nursing students from 10 nursing schools across the region participated in a 10-week internship at Independence Blue Cross or at a community health center supported by the Foundation’s Blue Safety Net grant program.
This year’s program included a unique Leadership Lab partnership with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia....

Philadelphia, PA — The Independence Blue Cross Foundation (Foundation) today announced nearly $1.8 million in funding to support three programs: Nurses for Tomorrow, Supporting Treatment and Opioid Prevention (STOP) Initiative, and Building Healthier Communities.
