Executive Director of the Independence Blue Cross (IBX) Foundation, Heather Major, spoke at the 2024 AHIP Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Major’s panel, “Vital Relationships for Maximizing Payer Health Equity Impact” focused on how payer engagement can advance health equity through the lens of IBX’s values. As an industry thought leader, Major drew from her experience in health policy and healthcare administration to communicate IBX’s mission of ensuring equal access to healthcare.
This year’s conference centered-in on themes such as equity improvement, alternative payment models, value-based care, transparency in health care and consumer engagement. AHIP believes in turning healthy insights into helpful innovations through health insurance providers.
