The Independence Blue Cross Foundation (Foundation) celebrated its sixth anniversary by honoring the region’s Future Leaders in Community Health. Independence executive leadership and Foundation grantees, partners, and friends gathered for the evening reception at Independence LIVE. Foundation President Lorina Marshall-Blake provided a summary of the Foundation’s achievements during the past year and presented the awards jointly with Foundation Program Manager Heather Major.
The individuals recognized are rising stars in their organizations, collectively pursuing their passion to making a difference in their communities.
