“We are delighted to have Charisse join our Board and look forward to her leadership,” said Lorina Marshall-Blake, president of the Foundation. “I can’t think of anyone who has demonstrated a greater commitment to community service and improving the lives of our city’s most vulnerable.”

“I am deeply honored to join the Board of the Independence Blue Cross Foundation and to succeed my friend Pat Gillespie, Sr. as Chair,” Ms. Lillie said. “Pat’s inspiring leadership of the Board is evident in the amazing achievements of the Foundation in its first decade. I look forward to serving on the Board and working with the talented team leading the Foundation in executing on its mission of leading a future for equitable health in our communities and nation.”
